Project background

We teamed up with .id - informed decisions to ask about your experiences with your local area, your local council, and other topics relevant to life in the City of Ipswich. Similar surveys have been conducted since 2021, and have helped to inform council decision making, including local area policy design and planning.

Council sincerely appreciates the time and insights shared by residents, businesses and community members who contributed their views. All feedback received will be reviewed and considered as part of council’s next steps and decision‑making process.

Thank you to the 1,320 residents who participated in this year's community views and sentiment survey. See a summary of what you shared with us here, or read the full Community Views 2026 Report.

Your feedback helps council better understand our local area, and will be used to inform future decision-making.
