Project background

Each year, council faces the challenge of distributing resources across a diverse range of projects and services, from running library programs to delivering major city infrastructure.

To help inform these decisions, we refer to the Corporate Plan. The Corporate Plan is a strategic plan updated every five years to help guide council's progress towards achieving the Community Vision, "Ipswich, a city of opportunity for all", by 2041.

Council has begun drafting the Corporate Plan 2026-2031, and we are seeking your feedback on the draft outcomes. These outcomes will be used to define measures of success, and help identify what projects or service areas should therefore be prioritised to achieve these measures.

To help shape the draft outcomes, have your say by 23 November 2025.
