2024 Ipswich Art Workshop

Located on the land of the Jagera, Yuggera and Ugarapul people, the Ipswich Art Workshop was established in response to the passionate feedback from our vibrant creative community. The Workshop can be found in d'Arcy Doyle Place between the Ipswich Art Gallery and the Ipswich Community Gallery in Ipswich Central.

Following consultations with the Ipswich Arts Advisory Group, a recommendation was made to council to introduce flexibility into the programming of the Ipswich Art Workshop for the first six months. The program has been carefully crafted with a combination of expressions of interest received, collaboration with industry advocates, and suggested workshops led by renowned artists.

Upcoming programmed workshops and artists in residence will be released in regular blocks to allow for opportunities to reflect and adjust the program as required.
