Flick the 'swich - Mental Health and Wellbeing

The first of four youth forums, discussing local issues from a youth perspective.

The mental health and wellbeing forum will look to:

  • open a conversation with the Ipswich community about mental health and mental illness – what are some key contributing factors being faced by young people, what change do you want to see in Ipswich?
  • identify key challenges and priorities for young people in maintaining a positive state of well-being – has this changed since Covid-19?
  • explore ways to reduce stigma about mental illness, recognise the signs of mental illness and talk about it
  • identify what young people need from local resources, services and the Ipswich community to create a supportive, healthy city.

You ask the questions!

If you’re submitting a question for our panellists, we ask that you submit this in writing or as a pre-recorded video by Wednesday 14th October 2020. We encourage to host or join a watch party to see your question pitched to our panellists, and to continue to the discussion via the comments section of each panel’s livestream link.
