About this engagement

The Ipswich Sports Forum was held on 18 October 2025, bringing together the broader sporting community to discuss key issues and opportunities for the future of sport in Ipswich. This event marked the start of ongoing conversations about how we can work together to shape sustainable and fair access to facilities.

Council is committed to co-designing a sustainability model that supports the long-term viability of sport and recreation in Ipswich. This approach aims to:

  • Provide long-term certainty for clubs
  • Support sustainable facility management
  • Ensure fair and transparent access for all users

There will be more opportunities to get involved in shaping these outcomes. Follow this page for upcoming information and future engagement activities.
