Background

Our Multicultural Advisory Committee was formed in May 2025 as a platform to engage with Ipswich’s multicultural communities and help shape the many initiatives, projects and support services that Ipswich City Council provides.

We are now seeking expressions of interest from members of the Ipswich community who are keen to be an External Advisor to the Multicultural Advisory Committee, to put their voice forward and help shape a more inclusive city and vibrant, multicultural future for Ipswich residents.

To find out more about what being an External Advisor involves, please read the Expression of Interest.
